The main focus of the Plastics Welding Division of LPKF Laser & Electronics AG is the technology of laser plastic welding. The division has exclusively focused on this innovative and fast growing technology as one of the first business ventures worldwide.

The emphases is put on development, production and distribution of systems for laser welding of plastics in the form of modular-designed, laser assisted manufacturing plants.

With process development in their own application center and the feasibility of prototyping, the Plastics Welding Division of LPKF Laser & Electronics AG offers a unique variety for a competent and fast integration of the laser plastic welding technology for the costumer’s production process.

Applications for laser plastics welding are found in such industries as automotive, medical, and the consumer electronics industry.
