PRIMES GmbH

PRIMES GmbH was founded in 1992 as a spin-off of the Fraunhofer Institute of Laser Technology (ILT) Aachen, Germany. The research results were transferred into commercial products rapidly.

PRIMES GmbH produces measuring devices for the production with laser radiation. Particularly, PRIMES designs, constructs and sells equipment for characterising the laser beam parameters: power, beam direction, beam profile and beam widths as well as M2.

PRIMES laser beam diagnostic devices are used by laser machinebuilders, beam source producers, laser end users as well as R&D.

Experts of beam source development, beam propagation and laser application are part of our PRIMES team. Additionally, specialists of device-specific areas such as electronics, mechanics and software complete our team. Therefore, we are able to offer elaborate results in the area of cross-application technology.

PRIMES GmbH also offers measurement by order: we analyse the laser beam and discuss and interpret the results together with the customer tofind solutions.

PRIMES GmbH carries a calibration laboratory as well as a comprehensive laboratory equipment such as 3.5kW C02 Slab-laser, 1kW Nd:YAG-laser, 50W Nd:YAG-Q-Switch- Marking lasers et al.
